Mushroom Gravy

1/4 ounce dried mushrooms

Soak mushrooms in 2 cups of room temperature water for 1 hour or more.

Drain mushrooms using a coffee filter and sieve.  Squeeze mushrooms.

Rinse mushrooms and squeeze again.

Cook 1 tablespoon fat and 1 tablespoon of flour in roasting pan.  Add mushroom liquid and cook until thickened.  Chop mushrooms and add them to gravy.

Season with salt and pepper.
